Cycle gently undulating paths alongside flourishing paddy fields and cinnamon plantations in the charming southern countryside. Your trail is 6 km of peace and picturesque views, with the opportunity to stop off at local villages to browse markets and see small temples along the way. Wildlife abounds here, from the white egrets and big buffalo in the paddies to the tea plants, pineapple bushes and banana trees that line the trail. Around halfway, break for a fortifying thambili and selection of traditional Sri Lankan delicacies.
